These gaskets are made from high purity graphite giving the elevated thermal stability to deliver an exceptionally long service life

Specifications

- Grey in colour.

 - Supplied as per customer requirements.

 - Recommended Maximum Temperature: 230°C. (In steam) It may be suitable for higher
   temperatures and pressures following consultation with Gasket Man.

 - Boiler gaskets are flexible and deformable for ease of fitting, and are compressible enough
   to ensure that uneven mating surfaces are completely sealed.


                            

Leather is a natural product, which has undergone a process of vegetable tanning or chrome tanning for better durability.

Specifications

- Tan in colour.

- Supplied in pre-cut gaskets.

- Thickness: 3 mm.

- Recommended maximum temperature: 80°C.

Vulcanised fibre is a laminated plastic composed of only cellulose.

Specifications

- Red in colour.

- Recommended maximum temperature: 130°C.

Vulcanised fibre is a strong material with excellent tear resistance and fine
bonding surfaces. It is not corroded by salt water. It is not broken down easily
by the sun.

Constructed of durable fabrics that are chemical, UV and weather resistant.  
The shields are available in Teflon, polypropylene, PVC and polyethylene.

Specifications

- Solid styles contain a pH indicating patch which signals a leak
   by immediately changing colour towards red if acidic or
   towards green if an alkali.

 - The patch is replaceable which allows reuse of the shield.
